Dream Wife have released their new single ‘Orbit’ from their forthcoming third album ‘Social Lubrication’ – as well as announcing details of a UK and US tour.‘Orbit’, produced by Dream Wife guitarist Alice Go and mixed by Alan Moulder, is a defiant song which they say was “written through the joy of jamming together and locking into the groove like a multi-limbed space-age organism.”They continued: “‘Orbit’ has a dance rock edge from the early ’00s of bands like New Young Pony Club and Yeah Yeah Yeahs. Lyrically, it was inspired by post-lockdown London coming back to life and sharing a space through friendship, community and how each day you never know what’s in store for you or how a stranger can become someone close to you – for a day, a heartbeat, a phase, or a lifetime.” The new single follows their previous releases ‘Hot (Don’t Date A Musician)’ and ‘Leech’, all from the trio’s upcoming third album ‘Social Lubrication’ which is set for release on June 9 via Lucky Number.‘Social Lubrication’ is an entirely self-written and self-produced album by the trio.

Sufjan Stevens has announced his new album ‘Reflections’ along with new single ‘Ekstasis’.The album is a studio recording of his score for the ballet by choreographer Justin Peck, and was performed by pianists Timo Andres and Conor Hanick. The Lemon Twigs have shared their latest single ‘Every Day Is The Worst Day Of My Life’ from their forthcoming album ‘Everything Harmony’.The brand-new single is the fourth to be debuted ahead of the band’s upcoming album. Seven-time Grammy winner Alanis Morissette has released the new single, “No Return” (Extended Version), a reworked version of Yellowjackets’ main title theme song.  Morissette’s new take on the theme, written by Yellowjackets composers Craig Wedren and Anna Waronker, debuted in the fourth episode of the series’ second season. Bob Dylan recorded and released a performance film titled Shadow Kingdom via the Veeps platform for just one week. Now, that performance is set to be released as a live album in June.Set to be released on June 2 via Columbia Records and Legacy Recordings, ‘Shadow Kingdom’ will include all 13 songs that were in the film, along with the instrumental that closed it out, now identified as ‘Sierra’s Theme’.The album version will be released on streaming platforms and as a CD and double-LP and can be pre-ordered here.

Jazz Tangcay Artisans Editor Singer and songwriter Alanis Morissette has recorded and released a new cover version of Showtime’s “Yellowjackets” main title theme song, “No Return.” Viewers who watched the fourth episode of “Yellowjackets,” which dropped on Showtime’s streaming service on the night of April 13, may have been surprised to hear Morissette’s new version of the song over the show’s opening credits. The new version of the song is a one-off for Episode 4, and the original theme song will return for its fifth, look for Morissette’s song to pop up at other points in this season. “No Return,” the haunting and psychedelic opening theme of “Yellowjackets,” was originally composed by Craig Wedren and Anna Waronker, who write the music for the show.

Billie Eilish and Labrinth are reportedly set to officially release their song from the Euphoria soundtrack, ‘Never Felt So Alone’.The track appears on the season two soundtrack of Zendaya’s hit HBO show, and Labrinth joined Eilish at her Los Angeles gig last December to perform the song.Though no official recorded version has yet seen the light of day, both Labrinth and Eilish have teased that it could be arriving next week.When the season two soundtrack arrived on Spotify, ‘Never Felt So Alone’ was absent, and has only existed on the show itself.
