As Regal parent Cineworld prepares to exit Chapter 11 this month, rumors are heating up over who will emerge as the giant theater chain’s new chief executive, with reports Monday pointing to Eduardo Acuna of Cinepolis.

A bankruptcy court judge today gave a green light to a reorganization plan for Regal parent Cineworld, the key step needed for the giant movie theater chain to emerge from bankruptcy next month.

The streamer calculates this by dividing the number of hours a project was viewed by its runtime. This puts “Never Have I Ever” Season 4 at 11.5 million views for the week. Though the series’ position on the chart improved, views were actually down compared to last week, when it took second place with 15.5 million views in its first four days of availability.

Naman Ramachandran The top management of multinational cinema chain Cineworld are to receive up to $35 million to exit the company as it emerges from Chapter 11 proceedings, according to a report. The company’s creditors plan to take control of the company when the bankruptcy proceedings conclude in July, the Financial Times reported on Friday. The lenders committed to pay CEO Mooky Greidinger, his brother and deputy chief executive Israel Greidinger, finance head Nisan Cohen and chief commercial officer Renana Teperberg between $30 million and $35 million in cash in the year following their exit, the Financial Times said, citing people familiar with the matter. The payout is to “make the bankruptcy agreement more palatable,” the report added.

Don and DJ Doggy Dog cross paths in Central Park and pair up against all odds for an epic adventure of friendship in New York City. The film was penned by Bob Barlen and Cal Brunker. Budgeted at $25 million, “The Inseparables” was produced by nWave Studios in Belgium, Octopolis in France and A Contracorriente Films in Spain.

Yossman One Direction star Niall Horan is set to cameo on rail-themed Channel 4 digital series, “Trainspotting with Francis Bourgeois.” Produced by Untold Studios, the series sees TikTok creator Bourgeois introduce celebrities to the obscure hobby. Horan will join Bourgeois for a “day of locomotive escapades” starting at Liverpool Street Station in London – but will a series of train cancelations and delays scupper their plans? During the episode, which is available from June 14 on Channel 4’s YouTube, Horan reveals a very personal connection to trains, telling Bourgeois that his grandfather was a train driver. Movie buffs will also be thrilled to discover Horan’s grandfather drove the train in “The Great Train Robbery.”
