‘Celebrity Wheel Of Fortune’ Tops Thursday Ratings; ‘Walker’ Ticks Down In Week 2

NBC topped the broadcast ratings Monday in primetime with two series premieres and its drama kingpin This Is Us. The network’s night started with the Dwayne Johnson family comedy Young Rock, which debuted strong with a 0.9 in the adults 18-49 demographic and 5.03 million viewers tuning in to smell what The Rock was cooking. Saturday Night Live staple Kenan Thompson followed with the debut of his new comedy Kenan (0.8, 4.07M).

Queen Latifah kicked down the door and showed us her vigilante side with the series premiere of The Equalizer on CBS. The crime drama debuted with a 0.9 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic and netted 7.98 million viewers.

Fox’s Hell’s Kitchen cooked up Thursday’s top-rated show in broadcast primetime, drawing a 0.7 rating in the adults 18-49 demographic and 2.76 million viewers. It helped the network tie for the best rating of the night overall with ABC, which blanketed its lineup with Celebrity Wheel of Fortune encores.

CNN posted big gains in the month of January, while Fox News, used to dominating the ratings, saw year-over-year declines.
