confirmed in December that Keith Lemon’s hit ITV show would be making a dramatic comeback in 2022 after disappearing from the network’s autumn schedule last year, and now just a few days remain until the new episodes launch. Emily, who stars as a team captain on the programme, confessed that it was emotional getting back to work with fans allowed to watch inside the studio. ‘We’re BACK and I’m so grateful for it, it’s my first time as team captain with a full audience, we honestly all cried when we did the first record,’ she said.
‘It was emotional. ’Emily also went on to add that Keith is ‘naughtier than ever’ and the games have also ramped up. ‘They’re all equally as fun and as gross as the last, that wobbly board may look fun but it felt like I had done a workout the next day,’ she shared.
Teasing what’s in store, presenter Keith added: ‘New games, new guests, new hats. Same Juice as always, I guess but with more new madness. ‘I’m still loving it! I never know what to expect myself to be honest! Oh, and the audience is back – which is lovely.
’Celebrity Juice has been running since 2008 and originally featured Fearne Cotton and Holly Willoughby as captains before they stepped away from the show in 2018 and 2020 respectively. Emily and Laura Whitmore were both drafted in to replace the pair in 2020 with Love Island presenter returning to her slot just two weeks after giving birth. Celebrity Juice returns for a brand-new series on Thursday 24th March at 10pm on ITV2. Got a story? If you’ve got a celebrity story, video or pictures get in touch with the Metro.
