CBS Studios is ramping up its international order book.
The company has landed a series order at Australian streamer Binge for romantic comedy Colin from Accounts.
Production on the eight-part series has begun in Sydney for the Foxtel-owned streamer
The series was created, written by and stars, Patrick Brammall (No Activity) and Harriet Dyer (Wakefield ).
Centred on Ashley (Dyer) and Gordon (Brammall), two single-ish, complex humans who are brought together by a car accident and an injured dog, Colin from Accounts is about flawed, funny people choosing each other and being brave enough to show their true self, scars and all, as they navigate life together.
CBS Studios produces in association with Easy Tiger Productions with Rob Gibson and Ian Collie producing for Easy Tiger. Trent O’Donnell, Matt Moore and Madeleine Dyer direct and Brammall, Dyer, O’Donnell, Alison Hurbert-Burns and Brian Walsh exec produce.
The series is distributed outside Australia and New Zealand by ViacomCBS Global Distribution Group.

On Tuesday, the streaming service announced the renewals of “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars,” “Queen of the Universe,” “The Real World Homecoming” and “The Challenge: All Stars,” as well as multiple new series.“The Challenge: All Stars,” which landed a Guild of Music Supervisors Award nomination for best music supervision in reality TV, will launch its third season on May 11, Chris McCarthy, chief content officer of unscripted entertainment at Paramount Plus, announced on on Tuesday’s ViacomCBS’s Investor Day event, sharing that the universe is expanding across broadcast and cable channels.Internationally, the streamer will launch “The Challenge: Argentina,” “The Challenge: Australia” and “The Challenge U.K.” Each will be available to stream on demand in their respective markets.

Just days after SEAL Team was renewed for Season 6 by Paramount+, the military drama also has received an order for a stand-alone movie from the streamer. Additionally, NCIS: Sydney, an offshoot from the venerable crime drama franchise, has been commissioned by Paramount+ Australia and the country’s ViacomCBS-owned Network 10. The projects, announced during the ViacomCBS Investor presentation, come from CBS Studios which is tapping into the studio’s IP to expand two of its current series/franchises.

Fans will have to get their fill of Ramsay Street as according to a source, the show is set to close its residents' doors for the very last time. What's more, according to the source the cast and crew, who are based in the city of Melbourne, haven't even been told the news yet.The soap first came onto screens back in 1985, and is reportedly set to end this August, despite cast and crew not having been informed yet.
