Carol Vorderman gives new meaning to the phrase 'non-stop', with guest appearances, presenting jobs and celebrity weddings all featuring on her Instagram so far this week. But even with all of the amazing events and activities on her list, it sounds like her latest gig is a real dream come true.
The 62-year-old was announced earlier today (Wednesday) as one of the new celebrity judges on the upcoming series of Ru Paul's Drag Race UK on BBC Three. Other guest judges include X Factor winner and Strictly Come Dancing contestant Alexandra Burke, comedian Aisling Bea, designer Daphne Guinness, singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and Heartstopper and forthcoming Dr Who star Yasmin Finney.
Strictly professional Karen Hauer, icon Carol Vorderman, actor Suranne Jones, Vogue editor Edward Enninful OBE, fashion icon Kristen McMenamy, actor Cush Jumbo OBE and TV presenter Joel Dommett will also appear throughout the show. Alexandra will also take part in this year’s Snatch Game alongside Carol.

Now that the cat is out of the bag, Carol has taken to social media to share her joy. The Welsh broadcaster is obviously beside herself with glee, posting a trailer for the show with the caption: "I’m so so so excited to say I’m going to be a Guest Judge on this new series @bbcthree. Have I mentioned how excited I am to be with my buddy in latex @michellevisage?
"Lols. Can I get an Amen?"

Vorders fans are as thrilled as Carol herself, with the 'congratulations' comments coming in thick and fast. But some even think there's a higher calling for Carol.
