Elsa Keslassy International CorrespondentFrance Televisions Distribution has scored a raft of sales on Juliette Binoche starrer “Between Two Worlds” ahead of its world premiere on opening night of Cannes’ Directors’ Fortnight.“Between Two Worlds” (Ouistreham), adapted from Florence Aubenas’ bestseller “Le Quai de Ouistreham,” stars Binoche as Marianne Winckler, a well-known author who decides to write a book on job insecurity and sets off to experience it firsthand.

Just ahead of its French release, Universal’s F9 has been set for a special screening at the Cannes Film Festival, Deadline has confirmed. This is the mystery studio movie that Cannes General Delegate Thierry Frémaux has been teasing for a few weeks.

While it seemed like yesterday’s announcement of the lineup for the 2021 Cannes Film Festival couldn’t have been better, festival boss Thierry Fremaux has since revealed that a wider range of movies could have joined the rostra of major titles premiering on the Croisette – and they’re not, because of Netflix.
