The Melbourne International Film Festival (MIFF), which had been due to stage its 2020 edition August 6-23 but was forced to cancel due to the coronavirus pandemic, is relaunching as an online only event.
Branded MIFF 68½ (in reference to the fact this year would have been the 69th edition), the festival says it will host a program of new-release films from around the world, including titles that would’ve screened at the physical festival. Online

But after failing to land any work after quitting the show, she has taken to social media to flog some of her personal belongings.

Italy's Far East Film Festival is moving online this year as the country continues to grapple with the novel coronavirus pandemic. The 22nd edition of the festival, an influential specialty event that brings popular and arthouse Asian cinema to Europe, was originally slated to run April 24-May 2.
