dog out of a van window and left it on the side of a Scots road before driving off. The incident occurred on the A77 near Innermessan in Stranraer at around 3.50pm on Thursday August 26.
A member of the public saw it happen and got in touch with Police Scotland to report what had happened. The van was a white coloured Ford Transit with black tinted windows but its registration number remains unknown.Officers attended the scene and uplifted the dog which they took to the local veterinary centre
