California county task force to fine residents for mask violations, but some criminal activities overlooked

Authorities in California have released photos of two male suspects accused of ambushing and opening fire on a Los Angeles County deputy in what the sheriff described as an “unprovoked attack.” The ambush happened just after 12:30 p.m. on Friday in Altadena while the on-duty deputy was driving in her marked patrol vehicle, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.The deputy was not injured in the shooting.

California officials will allow playgrounds in the state to remain open following a backlash over a restrictive stay-at-home coronavirus order affecting parts of the state that have less than 15% intensive care unit-capacity in hospitals, according to reports.

A small business owner said Sunday that California's new coronavirus shutdown may force him out of business.  Alex Miladi, the owner of a karate academy in South Yuba City, told "Fox & Friends" his business has already taken a 70% hit as a result of prior California lockdown measures to contain the virus. “This coming lockdown will pretty much put us out [of business],” he said.
