UK chocolate giant Cadbury has issued an important message to anybody who eats its chocolate.
Following a series of high street shop closures over the past twelve months - including Thorntons branches - the retailer is now trying to convince people to shop locally.
To help aid the high street, Cadbury is partnering with six local independent chocolatiers across the country, including Cocoa Cabana in Manchester.

Cadbury has been forced to send their factories into overtime after an unexpected demand for chocolate flakes left them facing a shortage. Small businesses and ice cream vans have been reporting an absence of the chocolate bar across the UK which led to Cadbury confirming there has been an "unexpected demand" that they are struggling to keep up with.
