Chvrches have celebrated the 10th anniversary of their debut album by sharing new versions of their first two singles and hosting a live premiere of one of their 2013 concerts.The Scottish trio are currently underway with marking a new milestone in their career – celebrating 10 years since they first shared their debut album ‘The Bones Of What You Believe’.To mark the occasion, the three-piece – consisting of Lauren Mayberry, Martin Doherty and Iain Cook – have shared both a live recording and remastered version of their debut songs ‘Lies’ and ‘The Mother We Share’. This marks the first two of five previously unshared live versions of their songs, all of which will appear in their upcoming 10th Anniversary Edition of the record.The lead single was first shared online in May 2012 and was soon followed by the latter – a track that went on to help catapult the band into the limelight.

Bill Ryder-Jones has shared his latest single ‘This Can’t Go On’ and has announced his upcoming LP ‘Lechyd Da’.Serving as the lead single to Jones’ fifth studio album, ‘This Can’t Go On’ features strings lifted from a 1978 Flashlight song. Directed by James Slater, the video for the track sees a young schoolboy walking through Crail, Fife in Scotland. The video references the LP’s artwork which was painted by Dale Bissland.Speaking of ‘Lechyd Da’ in a press release, Jones shared his love for the album sharing: “I haven’t been this proud of a record since A Bad Wind Blows in My Heart.” The LP has been described as “rooted in love, loss, pain, heartache and often a deep darkness, but also one that frequently ends up in places of profound beauty, hope and joy” as per press release.“It’s my most produced record.

Mark Ronson has paid tribute to the late Amy Winehouse on what would have been the star’s 40th birthday.The singer, who died in 2011, would have turned 40 yesterday (September 14), and her friend and producer Ronson took to Instagram to pay his respects.“Happy Birthday Amy,” he wrote, sharing studio footage of himself listening to her vocals for ‘You Know I’m No Good’.“Today my dad turns 75. Nas turns 50 and Amy would’ve been 40,” Ronson added.

Amy Winehouse’s band have announced details of a special London show, set to celebrate the singer for what would have been her 40th birthday.The upcoming gig will be held at the KOKO venue in Camden this December and is set to celebrate the life and music of the late singer, as well as the legacy she left behind.The band set to headline the event are the same musicians who were working with Winehouse from the very start of her career, up until her unexpected death in 2011. This includes her long-term Musical Director and bass player Dale Davis – who is also working as the music consultant on the upcoming Amy biopic, titled Back to Black.Alongside the original band members, the show will also feature vocals by singer Bronte Shandé, as well as a variety of on-screen visuals and rare footage of the singer.The one-off special gig will be held in the late musician’s Camden hometown on December 22 – and will celebrate what would have been her 40th birthday this Thursday (September 14).

Billy Bragg has been added to Camden’s Music Walk Of Fame on the city’s High Street.Over the weekend (September 9), the veteran singer-songwriter was officially added to the walk during a ceremony overseen by activist Chris Packham and Liverpool singer-songwriter Jamie Webster. The former gave a speech paying tribute to Bragg during the ceremony, praising him as “a spokesperson – not just for one, but several generations”.“He spoke to us about us – with clarity and wit and kindness,” he said. “He also instructed us, pricked our consciences or kicked our arses with demands.

Buzzcocks have been officially inducted into the Music Walk Of Fame in Camden.The legendary punk pioneers joined other music icons on the Camden strip including David Bowie, The Who, Madness and Amy Winehouse yesterday (September 8). The celebration is designed to honour the huge impact the members have had on the industry since their formation in 1976.Following their induction ceremony, which was hosted by Carl Barât of The Libertines and BBC Radio London presenter Gary Crowley, the band were hailed by Liam Gallagher and former Sex Pistols drummer Paul Cook.“Congratulations to Steve Diggle and the Buzzcocks for their inauguration in the Camden Walk of Fame.

The Rolling Stones have officially announced their new album, ‘Hackney Diamonds’ and shared details of new single ‘Angry’.The veteran rockers’ 24th record, was confirmed in a press release to be their first of original music since 2005’s ‘A Bigger Bang’, earlier this week.Band members Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood have now spoken about the new record, which was produced by Andrew Watt, on a livestream at the Hackney Empire, this afternoon (September 6) with The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon host, Jimmy Fallon.Revealing the new album, Mick Jagger said: “We’re here to present our new single which is called ‘Angry’ and the new video.
