Burniston star Rab Florence is set to impress in a new musical version of Peter Mullan's cult film Orphans.
The Scots actor may be best known for his writing and performance skills on screen, but is turning his hand to singing for his latest venture with the National Theatre of Scotland.
The show, a darkly comic take on the classic much-loved tale, has a host of big names on board including award-winning Scots composers Roddy Hart and Tommy Reilly, and Hollyoaks favourite Amy Conachan.
Touring the country in April, an exclusive video preview shows the extent of The Scotts star Rab's incredible singing talents as he belts out a rousing rendition of Safe With You.
He said: “Orphans has always been one of my favourite films so it’s amazing to be involved with this show, and such an honour to be allowed to make a music video of one of Tommy Reilly and Roddy Hart’s brilliant songs.
"As an orphan myself, I’m finding the whole experience very therapeutic. I really hope people come down to see the show in the flesh, because there are so many talented people on the stage and behind the scenes, and it’s a real treat for me to be able to ride their coat-tails for a bit!
Safe With you was filmed in St Michael’s RC Church in Glasgow and in the show sets the scene for the stormy night ahead.
