The 2020 Burning Man festival has been cancelled due to the ongoing coronavirus crisis.
Like so many other major events this year, Burning Man has officially been canceled. Organizers of the annual event— which was initially set to take place August 30 to September 7 — wrote that "after much listening, discussion, and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision not to build Black Rock City in 2020" on the Burning Man Project blog on Friday night.
