Bruce Williamson: Former Temptations frontman dies aged 49

Kool & The Gang co-founder Ronald Bell has died aged 68, a representative for the singer has said.

Bruce Williamson, the former lead singer ofThe Temptations, has died. He was 49.

The Temptations, has died aged 49.The singer died on Sunday (September 6) at his home in Las Vegas after battling the coronavirus, TMZ reports.Williamson’s death was confirmed by his son, who paid tribute to his father on social media.“There’s no words in the world that can express how I feel right now,” Bruce Williamson Jr. wrote on Facebook.

The one-time lead singer of the legendary group The Temptations has died from coronavirus.

Bruce Williamson has sadly died after complications from coronavirus, TMZ reports.

TMZ reported.Williamson, who was not an original member, joined the Temptations in 2006 and sang with the group until 2015.The Compton, California-native told Las Vegas Black Image Magazine that singing in churches in his youth helped him get in tune with his soulful roots at a young age.“After seven years as a Temptation I am still in awe,” he told the magazine in 2013.
