That label news is not exactly unexpected, since RCA has been Elvis Presley’s label home since the late 1950s.Although “Vegas” is an original song, live snippets reveal the Doja Cat track does incorporate a Presley classic, “Hound Dog.” (Fans may have to wait till May 6 to find out whether “Viva Las Vegas” also appears in the final studio version, as might be expected from the title.) Luhrmann was out at Coachella for its second weekend, supporting three artists associated with “Elvis” as a film or soundtrack — including Yola, who plays Sister Rosetta Tharpe in the movie, and Shonka Dukureh, who portrays Big Mama Thornton, as well as Doja Cat.

Atlanta rapper Arthur "Archie" Eversole has been killed, and Dekalb County, Georgia police have charged his brother Alexander Kraus with his murder, multiple outlets report. Eversole was shot on March 25 near Golf Vista Circle in Decatur, according to local ABC affiliate WSB-TV2, and died of his injuries at a nearby hospital on April 3.

HBO Max is expanding its DC Comics footprint with a series order for “Detective Dead Boys,” based on characters created by writer Neil Gaiman and illustrators Matt Wagner and Malcolm Jones. The show follows a pair of ghostly detectives as they investigate murders related to the supernatural.

Cops responded to a Chevron gas station on Snapfinger Woods Drive where they found Eversole suffering from a gunshot wound.Kraus was arrested and charged after the shooting.His was first charged with aggravated assault, however, his crimes were changed to murder after Eversole died.Eversole is best known for his 2002 hit “We Ready,” which featured fellow rapper Bubba Sparxxx. The man who gave us “We Ready, the greatest Game Day anthem ever, has passed away at 37 years old.
