Hot Country Knights -- the ‘90s-influenced comedic country band fronted by Dierks Bentley (aka Douglas “Doug” Douglason) -- has signed a worldwide recording deal with Universal Music Group Nashville, it was announced Thursday (Jan. 2). In a press release, the band promises to “bring real ’90s country music back to a format that’s been drowning in male sensitivity, cashmere cardigan sweaters and programed drum loops.”
