Brooke Shields rushed to hospital after terrifying medical emergency in restaurant

Brooke Shields says she was rushed to hospital after suffering a seizure in New York City while dining out at a restaurant.
The 58-year-old revealed how she was taken to an Intensive Care Unit after the seizure left her "frothing at the mouth". Brooke said she went "totally blue" during the terrifying ordeal, which happened in September, reports the Daily Mirror.
The actor explained how she collapsed "headfirst into the wall" just days before debuting her one-woman show at the Café Carlyle in the city. Afterwards, she started having a grand mal seizure outside the restaurant L'Artusi. Luckily, actor Bradley Cooper was on hand to help.
Speaking about the seizure, Brooke said Bradley raced over to help her and held her hand in the ambulance as she was taken to the ICU in the hospital. She explained that the seizure happened because she had drank too much water for her show, leaving her low in sodium.
"I was waiting for an Uber. I get down to the bottom of the steps, and I start evidently looking weird, and [the people I was with] were like, 'Are you okay?'" she explained in a new interview. She explained how she went into the restaurant where two women approached her.
She explained how everything started "to go black" before the medical emergency. Speaking in Glamour's US Women of the Year issue Brooke added that her hands dropped to her side before she suffered the seizure.
"It means frothing at the mouth, totally blue, trying to swallow my tongue. The next thing I remember, I'm being loaded into an ambulance. I have oxygen on. And Bradley f*****g Cooper is sitting next to me holding my hand," she added.
