Britney Spears' sons 'heartbroken' and 'devastated' by her book bombshells

When Britney Spears released her tell-all memoir last week, she celebrated the fact she was able to share “my story, on my terms, at last”. But while she’s finally telling her truth after years of being silenced, there are fears that the book could damage her already strained relationship with her teenage sons beyond repair. A source close to Britney has claimed that Sean Preston, 18, and Jayden James, 17, who are currently estranged from the pop star, have been left feeling “heartbroken” by some of the bombshell revelations.
“The children are absolutely devastated,” our source said. “They feel the book is way too much. If Britney wants to reconnect, they feel she is going about it the wrong way.” In The Woman In Me, Britney, 41, revealed for the first time that she had a secret abortion while dating Justin Timberlake.
She also claimed that she was “clueless” that ex-husband Kevin Federline, the father of her boys, had a family and a baby on the way when they met in 2004. She wrote, “Kevin had a bad boy image. Still, I had no idea when we met that he had a toddler, nor that his ex-girlfriend was eight months pregnant with his second baby.” The source continued, “Kevin is also devastated at the way he has been portrayed.
The kids are heartbroken.
They’re innocent, they shouldn’t be put through this.
“The abortion was one of the most upsetting things in the book. It was difficult for her sons, who would have been related to that unborn child, to read that.” They added, “The boys are really worried about their mum.
