In Tuesday’s announcement, GLAAD shined a light on Musgraves’ efforts, including using her platform to increase conversations about LGBTQ acceptance in country music, raise funds for GLAAD’s annual anti-bullying Spirit Day campaign and promote awareness of anti-LGBTQ bills in the Texas state legislature.“Kacey continues to raise the bar for what it means to be an authentic ally and to inspire her fans to do the same,” stated GLAAD president and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis.

Amanda Bynes had a successful career in Hollywood, after being catapulted to fame as a young actress in Nickelodeon’s ‘The Amanda Show,’ she starred in multiple successful romantic comedies, including ‘What a Girl Wants,’ ‘She’s The Man,’ ‘Hairspray,’ and more.So when the star began making headlines for a series of public breakdowns, including facing hit-and-run charges, driving under the influence and starting a fire outside a residence in California, fans started to worry about her mental health.Following the last incident in August 2013, Amanda’s mother, Lynn Bynes, was granted temporary conservatorship over her daughter, which was turned permanent in October 2014, and was extended to end in August 2020. The legal arrangement was extended yet again until January 2023, when a judge reviewed a health report on Amanda’s health in September 2021.

Amanda Bynes, 35, filed court documents at California’s Ventura County Superior Court on Wednesday, February 23 to end her years-long conservatorship, according to Page Six. The former child star, 35, is reportedly seeking to dissolve both the conservatorship of her person and estate, which have been run by her mother Lynn since 2013. Per California law, Amanda also had to submit a capacity declaration, which includes records of her mental state from a physician, psychologist or religious healing practitioner. Her court hearing is reportedly set for March 22.

The pop princess continued by claiming Jamie Lynn “went into the closet and screamed like a drama queen” and caused a scene in her mom, Lynne Spears‘ closet. “Aren’t I supposed to be the one screaming ??? The book will share the pop star’s own accounts of “her rise to fame, her music career and her relationship with her family”.Page Six also reports that the deal was secured after a bidding war with multiple other publishers and is worth as much as $15million (£11m).

The letter then acknowledges the issues present in many conservatorships that Spears’ case helped spotlight.“Especially troubling was news that, for years, you were unable to hire your own counsel to represent your personal and financial interests,” it reads.
