Britney Spears is finally speaking out in her own words to reveal the truth about what has been happening in her life since 2008.
The 40-year-old singer released a 22-minute audio clip on YouTube in which she spoke about what has been happening to her amid the conservatorship and the #FreeBritney movement.
“A woman introduced the idea to my dad and my mom helped him follow through and made it all happen. It was all set up. There was no drugs or alcohol in my system. Pure abuse,” Britney said about her conservatorship. She alleged that her 2008 hospitalization was pre-meditated.

Britney talked about how her fans helped change her life.
“They had to let me go. Because the Free Britney campaign came out with all the pink t-shirts I saw on the morning shows and I think by my fans knowing by heart that something was up,” she said.
Britney ended the clip by saying, “If you feel alone a lot of the time, and you needed to hear a story like this, know this. My life has been far from easy and you’re not alone.”
