The tough Britain's Got Talent judges were brought to their feet by a group of medics from the north west this weekend. Ambulance crews from North West Ambulance Service received a standing ovation during the ITV competition, wowing the judges as the Frontline Singers - a choir made up of key workers and professional performers who worked on the frontline during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Comedian Axel Blake is the latest contestant to receive a golden buzzer on Britain's Got Talent, with Simon Cowell branding his performance "amazing" on Sunday night's show.The 33 year old also received high praise from judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams, with the entire judging panel and the audience giving the comedian a standing ovation. David, 50, called Axel a "comedy superstar", before Simon, 62, pressed the coveted golden buzzer.

Britain’s Got Talent fans have been left frustrated after it was revealed that an act who got a golden buzzer on the show on Saturday, has an Amazon Prime TV show. Comedian Axel Blake charmed the judges with his witty jokes and upbeat personality, so much so that Simon Cowell hit his golden buzzer. The comedian stood in shock as golden confetti rained down from the ceiling and he was given a ‘golden ticket’ to the live semi-finals.
