Dear reader, if you binge-watched the second season in barely more than a sitting and there’s been a Bridgerton-shaped hole in your life ever since, you’ll be pleased to know that your Shondaland hair and beauty withdrawal symptoms might be eased a little thanks to Simone Ashley’s latest transformation. The 27 year old actress, who plays the elder of the two Sharma sisters Kate in the hit Netflix show, has just given her hair a very non-Regency era makeover with the addition of a feathered full fringe, while her lengthy hair, which used to fall way past her shoulders, also appears to have been given a fresh chop. "Bangs are banging, girl!!" her Bridgerton co-star and on-screen stepmother Shelley Conn writes, as a second fan agrees, "Love your new hairstyle." Meanwhile a third chimed in with, “Omg! You're so beyond stunning! Loving the bangs,” as a fourth enthusiastically declared, “THE HAIR LOOKS AMAZING.” This hair makeover comes just a couple of weeks after the star appeared to get the trending “octopus haircut”, a shaggy style that has dominated social media for the first half of 2022.
