Bridgerton star Nicola Coughlan has asked fans online to keep their opinions about her figure online. The Irish actress posted a photo on her Instagram page with the request in the caption of the snap.
The Derry Girls favourite took a photo of herself in the mirror before her hosting duties on Saturday Night Live in the United States. Blonde beauty Nicola is wearing a floral dress in the image, with a Peter Pan collar and has her blonde bob in a wavy hairstyle as well as lipgloss on her pout.
As she shared the photo on her social media pages, the 35 year old wrote in the caption: "Hello! So just a thing- if you have an opinion about my body please, please don’t share it with me." Addressing comments received from her followers, Nicola continued: "Most people are being nice and not trying to be offensive but I am just one real life human being." The star added: "It’s really hard to take the weight of thousands of opinions on how you look being sent directly to you every day." The actress took the snap while in New York, ahead of hosting a special episode of Saturday Night Live with Hollywood actress and iconic Bridesmaids star Kristen Wiig. She continued her personal post and told fans: "if you have an opinion about me that’s ok, I understand I’m on TV and that people will have things to think and say but I beg you not to send it to me directly." The star signed off in a light hearted manner, "anyways here’s a pic of me in my hotel in NY about to go to SNL, it’s unrelated to this post but delighted with my hair in it", she shared.
