Tributes have been paid to a bride-to-be who died in a car crash. Sarah Lumb's fiancé paid tribute to 'a beautiful, amazing mother, sister and partner' as her family hailed her as 'the glue that held everyone together'.
Emergency services attended North Moor Lane in Halsall, near Ormskirk in Lancashire, on Monday morning after reports of a serious collision.
Her car came off the road at around 8.20am and despite the best efforts of emergency responders, Ms Lumb, 42, from Southport in Lancashire, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Lancashire Police, reports Lancs Live, said her family were being supported by specially trained officers, adding in a statement: "Our thoughts are with them at this very sad time."
Sarah's daughter, Jess, said: "She was an amazing, compassionate and loving mother, who will be dearly missed. Sarah played many roles as well as being a mother.
"She was a person who put everything and everyone before herself - she was the glue that held everyone together, and for that I am thankful to call her my mother."
Sarah's fiancé, Chris, said: "Sarah was a beautiful, amazing mother, sister and partner, there is a whole in our life that can never be repaired. Love you and miss you like crazy. Until we meet again Chris."
And Sarah's younger brother, Anthony, said: "My beautiful big sis. You have always been there for me from day one, until now, you can finally be at ease and be with our mum looking down at all of us. I'm going to miss you so much sis. Love you forever your little bro Anthony."
The tributes were released by Lancashire Police.
