his co-star Shannen Doherty’s “Let’s Be Clear” podcast, where he reflected on how his ex-girlfriend Tiffani Amber Thiessen joining the hit show impacted their real-life romance.“I’d never been in a real serious relationship before,” Green told Doherty, 52. “I was incredibly jealous every time she would f–king have to work with anybody else because we’d already been doing the show for four years. Like this is my family.”Thiessen, 50, and Green dated from 1992 to 1995.
Two years into their relationship, she was hired onto the show to portray Valerie Malone, who had a sexual relationship with Dylan McKay (Luke Perry) — which Green admitted was too much for him. “I used to bring Tiffani to events, so she knew everybody from then and then all of a sudden she’s doing sex scenes and s–t with people that were like my family and my brothers,” he said. “It was strange.
I remember I was really just f–king jealous and boisterous.”This ultimately led to to the couple parting ways, Green said, although he says the way he treated Thiessen still haunts him to this day. “I can’t imagine what it was like for her being with me for three years at that point and then having to do these scenes and having her f–king boyfriend — who she lives with by the way — freaking out the way that I was,” he sympathized. The Post has contacted reps for Thiessen for comment.
In Green’s defense, Doherty, who has previously denied dating co-star Jason Priestley, explained that the “90210” cast were all young actors experiencing “growing pains” while navigating both their personal and professional relationships. “We were so young and we were growing up and stretching our wings and learning how to use our voice,” she said. “I think I give us more allowance now
