Tencent Games, the video game division of China's media conglomerate Tencent, has partnered with Its Just Us Productions to expand cross-promotional opportunities inPlayerUnknown's Battleground Mobile. The Los Angeles-based Its Just Us, an independent production and finance company, will identify opportunities for PUBG Mobile'sin-game and offline platforms.

Boat Rocker Studios and former Sirens Media and USA Network executiveJessica Sebastian-Dayeh are teaming to launch a production and media company called Maven. The new venture will initially focus on unscripted content, developing for all platforms and emphasizing female-led stories and projects from emerging voices.

Jessica Sebastian-Dayeh, who was previously President of ITV America-owned Sirens Media, has set up her own production company with Boat Rocker Studios.

Brett Ratner’s upcoming biopic about R&B duo Milli Vanilli has been dropped by Millennium Media.

Brett Ratner‘s Milli Vanilli film is no longer moving forward with Avi Lerner’s Millennium Media, according to Variety on Thursday (February 25).

Recently, it was revealed that Brett Ratner was moving ahead with his long-in-development biopic about the disgraced ‘80s pop duo, Milli Vanilli. Normally, the idea of a Milli Vanilli biopic would be enough for us to be a bit underwhelmed.

News broke last week that Brett Ratner was in the process of lining up a directing project with Millennium Media on a long-gestating passion project centered on the controversial lip-syncing duo Milli Vanilli. Plans called for it to be sold at the upcoming virtual European Film Market, which is set for March 1-5, and once a go, it would mark Ratner's first major project after facing sexual misconduct and harassment claims by multiple women including Olivia Munn and Natasha Henstridge.
