Brenda Edwards has been seen for the first time since her son Jamal Edwards' sudden death over the weekend, as she joined mourners at a vigil in his memory. The Loose Women panellist and mum-of-two, 52, channelled her grief into a heart-wrenching rendition of Whitney Houston's Greatest Love Of All at the vigil, which took place in front of a mural of the music entrepreneur in West London. Jamal, who sadly died of a short illness at the age of 31, set up SBTV, a platform which helped to launch stars including Ed Sheeran and Jessie J.
Amidst the crowds, Lady Leshurr filmed TV presenter Brenda using a megaphone to belt out a tune for her beloved son. Rapper Lady Leshurr, 34, who also later performed, captioned her Instagram Story: "How much pain was weighing on her shoulders and she still came to support her son the next day. "How amazing," the star wrote next to a series of broken heart emojis.
As Brenda continued performing, Leshurr added: "How brave, she's a hero." As she panned the camera over the flowers, cards and candles left in tribute to Jamal, the star wrote directly to her late friend: "So many people here for you legend @jamaledwards @sbtvonline." Explaining why she attended, Lady Leshurr added: "I want to give all my love to Jamal Edwards' mum, sister, family, and all friends and loved ones. Could never have been easy. "Jamal has shown me a sign where I should embrace.
