A woman who was killed following a crash in Denton has been named as Joanne Whyte.
Police were called to reports of a collision between a white BMW 220D and a pedestrian on Ashton Road just before 1am on Monday (July 12).
The pedestrian, who has now been named as Ms Whyte, was rushed to hospital.
Tragically, the 49-year-old died a short time later.
