EXCLUSIVE: Talent agent Brandon Liebman is in talks to join UTA, after leaving WME where he was a partner since 2014.
Word about Liebman’s move has been circulating in town all day. He has been in the mix with clients that include Dev Patel, Tom Hiddleston, Richard Madden, Pedro Pascal, Diego Luna and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, and there will likely be a scrum for those clients. Liebman helped build a promising career for Armie Hammer, but cut the actor loose when unsavory headlines made him a blight on the client list.
No comment from UTA. We’ll update when his deal makes.

Davis joined Atlantic 11 years ago as an assistant in the A&R department, and Levin joined in 2010 and has since A&R’d a wide range of WMG artists. His signings include Melanie Martinez (“Cry Baby”), Ben Platt’s debut album and signed Oliver Tree. Most recently, Levin A&R’d Charlie Puth’s third album, “Charlie,” which includes the gold-certified single, “Left and Right” featuring Jungkook of BTS.

A partner at the power agency since 2014, Liebman’s exit was announced in a brief companywide memo circulated on Monday. WME declined to comment on the matter. Liebman did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Liebman’s contract was recently up for renegotiation, one source familiar with his deal said, and neither party could reach terms on a new agreement. Liebman’s next moves are unclear. During his long tenure at the agency, he worked on teams for stars including Tom Hiddleston, Pedro Pascal and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. Liebman was also crucial in shaping the career of disgraced actor Armie Hammer.

Anne Heche's son, Homer Laffoon, won another legal hurdle Tuesday in his ongoing court battle over the late actress' estate as her ex, James Tupper, was denied his petition to be named guardian ad litem over their son, Atlas, 13. "We are pleased—but not surprised—with the court’s ruling this morning denying James’ petition to appoint himself guardian ad litem for Atlas," Laffoon's lawyer, Bryan Phipps, said in a statement released to Fox News Digital. "We look forward to the court resolving Homer’s petition at the next hearing and, in the meantime, Homer will continue to diligently administer the Estate pursuant to his authority as Special Administrator." James Tupper was denied a petition to be made guardian ad litem in the Anne Heche estate, as her son, Homer Laffoon continues to battle for control of the estate.
