Boy, 17, charged with assault after double stabbing at Manchester city centre restaurant

A boy has been charged following two stabbings at a Manchester city centre restaurant.Police were called to Akbar's Indian restaurant on Liverpool Road at around 7pm on Tuesday, to a report of a stabbing.  Two men were taken to hospital with stab wounds.  A boy aged 17, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with two counts of section 18 assault and possession of an offensive weapon.He has been remanded to appear before Manchester and Salford Magistrates' court on Thursday
