A 10-year-old boy whose family were sent to a Travelodge in Manchester because of a dire shortage of social housing in Birmingham made it in to his primary school in Handsworth every day for two months - despite the 170-mile round trip.
He had to get up at 5am, Monday to Friday, for two months so his parents could drive him to Birmingham and he could join in lessons with his classmates,
