Swansea City have confirmed the club's retained list and that defender Declan John has been released by the South Wales club.
The 25-year-old was poised to be out of contract at the Liberty Stadium this summer.
And the Championship club has now confirmed that John will depart when his deal expires and has not been offered a new deal, which will be a boost to Bolton Wanderers.
