Beyonce and her oldest daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, 9, looked like twins when they were the same age! Tina Knowles took to Instagram on April 3 to share an adorable throwback snap of the Grammy winner when she was in elementary school.

Beyoncé made history for winning the most Grammy awards ever by a female artist, when she took home four awards at the scaled-back 2021 ceremony. During her speech, during which she honoured the 'Black Kings and Queens' she strives to represent and empower through her music, the 28-time Grammy winner also paid tribute to her husband Jay-Z and her three children, including her eldest Blue Ivy Carter who also walked away with her own award that night at nine years old.

As if Queen Bey and HOV needed any more reason to be proud of their ‘babies’ — Blue Ivy Carter went ahead and won a Grammy at age nine. Beyoncé and Jay-Z‘s oldest child earned her first Grammy Award — in the Best Music Video category — for her appearance in the visual for her mom’s song, “Brown Skin Girl” — featured on The Lion King: The Gift soundtrack.

To say that it was Beyoncé's epic night at the Grammys would indeed be the understatement of the year because that's exactly how it went! The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards should have been renamed as The Beyoncé because the 39-year-old singer made Grammy history as the most awarded female artist of all time and by any artist, male or female, with an unprecedented 28 wins.

Blue Ivy Carter has become the second-youngest person ever to win a Grammy. Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s nine-year-old daughter won the best music video trophy for her mother's hit “Brown Skin Girl” (featuring Wizkid and Saint Jhn) on Sunday (14 March) during the Grammy Premiere Ceremony.
