Dwayne Johnson's long-awaited movie finally has a release date. The action star took to Instagram on Sunday to share a video of the epic announcement, which went down in Times Square in New York City.In the clip, which gave fans a panning shot of the world-famous tourist destination, all the massive screens in Times Square went dark simultaneously.

Dwayne, “The Rock” Johnson, teased some “Black Adam” news on Instagram today, and making good on that promise, the global superstar eventually revealed the release date to his long-gestating DC Superhero film. “Black Adam” will now arrive in theaters, summer 2022 and July 29, 2022, to be exact.
