Billie Shepherd has shared that she was left terrified over the weekend when her daughter Margot suffered from a febrile seizure. Sharing a photo of herself with her children, the former TOWIE star wrote: "One exhausted mumma.
"My little darling Margot has had a nasty virus, on Sunday Margot had a febrile seizure, it was the most terrifying moment of my life. It was caused due to a spike in her temperature, I was so scared and didn’t know what to do, we of course called an ambulance and Margot was examined at the hospital.
"After speaking to numerous doctors since they all said the same thing to me, that they are quite common but not spoken about, So I’m sharing this because it may encourage some of you to research what to do in this situation." Billie then shared a link to the NHS page on febrile seizure, before adding: "Margot is slowly getting better [red heart emoji]." The NHS states that a febrile seizure "can sometimes happen when a child has a high temperature" and that while you should seek medical help, it is not usually a serious condition. Billie's fans were quick to comment on her scary update, with one writing: "So sorry this has happened to little Margot! Thank you for sharing awareness! Wishing her a speedy recovery." "Oh poor little thing! My son had one last Christmas and it was absolutely terrifying" added another.
While a third penned: "Oh Billie, glad she’s ok now…. What a worry for you all.
Lots of love to you and your beautiful family." The scary health scare comes just a few months after the Shepherd family celebrated Margot's first birthday. Billie shared a heartwarming video montage of Margot to mark her first year, as she sweetly said: "You completed our family." The sweet video included snaps
