Shelby Tribble has caused concern among fans after she deleted her Instagram page. The former TOWIE star, 29, has been very open in the past about her struggles with social media and how it makes her feel about her body. The mum of one, from Plymouth, took to Instagram in 2021 to explain to her 476,000 followers why she had not been posting much, revealing she was suffering with low confidence and self esteem.
At the time Shelby wrote that "every time" she opens the app she feels "so s**t". She said: "I barely spend time or post on my social media because every time I go on it, it makes me feel so s**t about myself and the way I look." She continued: "To try and keep up with a certain standard is hard work. I already suffer with low confidence and self esteem.
It honestly makes me want to get a face and body full of surgery." Shelby also added that the lockdown was "really getting" to her. "I feel like I don't have conversation in me at the best of times, now it's non-existent," she said, before adding: "I hate myself. I wish I was super confident." In October, Shelby was left heartbroken as her "one in a million" grandad sadly passed away.
Again, taking to Instagram the 29 year old paid tribute to her "Grandy" by posting a series of photos, as well as some touching words. She wrote: "It's broken our hearts in two. But heaven needed an Angel.
And the one they picked was you," the 28 year old began with a red broken heart emoji. Shelby emotionally continued: "I can't even put into words how heartbroken I feel. Our world will never be the same without you in it… I'll forever feel proud and lucky to call you my grandad and great grandad to our darling Abel.
