Biker, 72, from Salford who died after horror crash in Cumbria is named

in Wigan.  The fatal accident involving a car and a motorbike happened in Standish at around 5pm on May 30.The Honda motorcycle and Ford Fiesta collided on Almond Brook Road near the junction with Arbour Lane. The motorcyclist, a 72-year-old man, was taken to hospital with leg injuries.Tragically, he died as a result of his injuries earlier this month on July 15.  An investigation is now underway, a spokesman for Greater Manchester Police said.
