Big Brother viewers 'disappointed' as they make realisation ahead of ITV launch

Big Brother fans have been left 'gutted' as the show teased viewers with a look at the launch show and new housemates ahead of its ITV revival tonight (Sunday October 8).
The experimental reality TV show took a five-year break after being axed by Channel 5 due to low ratings, but is now being relaunched by ITV. Hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best will be overseeing all the action as sixteen housemates embark on a six-week stay in the iconic house.
A 53-second clip teased on social media showed glimpses of inside the new Big Brother house, while AJ and Will introduced the launch programme and what to expect. Stood on a stage in front of the huge, instantly-recognisable Big Brother eye and joined by an audience, the hosts welcomed viewers to the Big Brother launch.

"The OG is back and if you've never seen it before, get ready for the greatest reality show of earth," Will said. "Like all famous faces, [the Big Brother house] has had a 2023 glow-up ready for a brand new series," he continued.
Meanwhile clips showed the property's living and dining room, complete with an eye logo table and blue sofas, a staircase with multi-coloured lights and the legendary diary room, with an huge, plush orange and red chair.
"We've got a brand new house, shall we put some housemates in it?" AJ asked as the audience as the camera cut to a car, with the number plate BIG BRO, pulling up to the stage.
