Don't ever speak to Beyoncéor her sister, Solange, ever again.
In a new interview with radio show The Breakfast Club, rapper Fabolous revealed that an old freestyle song lyric of his was criticized by Queen Bey herself.
The line is found on the 2010 track "For the Money," which features Nicki Minaj. In one of his verses, the rapper says, "If you could have Beyoncé, would you take Solange?"
Naturally, that line didn't sit well with the Knowles sisters, who have proven they will defend each
A B&B owner told how he in horror as his business partially collapsed into a river during Storm Ciara.
Joaquin Phoenix honored his late brother River Phoenix during his acceptance speech at the Academy Awards on Sunday night (Feb. 9).While accepting the best actor Oscar for his performance in Joker, Phoenix touched on a number of issues including cancel culture, animal activism, racism and gender equality before quoting a song lyric written by his brother, who passed away from a drug overdose outside Los Angeles' famed Viper Room in 1993 at the age of 23.
So, here I am rewatching Brad Pitt's BAFTAs acceptance speech that Margot Robbie recited on his behalf in preparation for the 92nd Academy Awards, a.k.a. the Oscars, and it has just dawned on me: Will Beyoncé be at the Oscars?? Because, frankly, no award show feels complete with the Queen herself.
A river in Dumfries has burst its banks as Storm Ciara continues to batter much of the country.
Feeling relieved. Jade Roper and Tanner Tolbert are “so glad” their 6-month-old son, Brooks, had a frenectomy.
All the big names are heading to the Lakes this summer
Fabolous promised to apologise to Solange Knowles after her sister Beyonce confronted him about a lyric in his tune For the Money.
Even though Beyoncé prefers staying away from controversies, she never shies away from standing up for what’s right. In a recent interview with radio show The Breakfast Club, rapper Fabolous revealed that Beyoncé once criticised his freestyle song lyric, in which he spoke about Queen B and her sister Solange. In his 2010 track For the Money, which also features Nicki Minaj, the rapper says in one of the verses, “If you could have Beyoncé, would you take Solange?”
Sometimes artists don't even realize how far their words can travel. Fabolous found himself in a tricky predicament when what he thought was a harmless jab from 2010's "For the Money" comparing Beyoncé to her sister Solange actually came back to haunt him when Bey pressed him about it later."Because if you could have Beyoncé, would you take Solange?" he raps on the Nicki Minaj-assisted record.
Lesson learned, do not compare Beyoncé and Solange Knowles as a punchline in a rap. That what Fabolous found out after he name checked the sisters in his 2010 song, “For the Money” featuring Nicki Minaj.
Leah Messer, 27, was right by her sister Victoria’s side for the arrival of her nephew, Caí River Rodríguez Messer, on Jan. 20! Apparently, the MTV camera crew was, too, judging by photos that both sisters shared to Instagram shortly after Victoria, 25, gave birth to her third child and very first baby boy. “We’re so in love with you Caí River Rodríguez Messer & Im so proud of you sister,” Leah wrote, and the caption accompanied a sweet slideshow that documented the delivery experience.
Welcome to the world! Leah Messer’s sister, Victoria Messer, gave birth to her third child, Caí River Rodríguez Messer, on Monday, January 20.
