The stars and sun aligned on the Grammy red carpet this warm Sunday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Prominent artists and entertainers arrived in iridescent one-pieces, print dresses and colorful suits in anticipation of a spectacular evening.

While ABC looks to cut live technical award speeches from the hard-working department heads, they don’t seem to be terribly concerned about the time spent on the multiple Best Song performances, which can be something many people still look forward to. Others might see that time spent could be reclaimed for the ceremony as producers keep looking for ways to shorten the runtime.
