John Hopewell Chief International Correspondent Hassie Harrison (“Yellowstone”), Jai Courtney (“Terminator Genisys”) and “Heartbreak High’s” Josh Heuston, soon to be seen in “Dune: Prophecy,” will star in the horror thriller “Dangerous Animals.” Adding edge to the package, Australia’s genre auteur Sean Byrne (“The Loved Ones,” “The Devil’s Candy”), one of the highest rated horror directors of all time on Rotten Tomatoes, is directing “Dangerous Animals” which will be brought onto the Cannes market by David Garrett’s Mister Smith Entertainment. Starting principal photography on Australia Gold Coast on May 7, “Dangerous Animals” is produced by London and Sydney-based Brouhaha Entertainment, behind Karim Aïnouz’s “Firebrand” and Guy Pearce-led “The Convert,” sold by Mister Smith, in conjunction with LD Entertainment (“Jackie,” “Ben Is Back”), Oddfellows Entertainment and management-production firm Range Media Partners.

Lord Of The Rings and Titanic, has died at the age of 79.The news was confirmed by his agent Lou Coulson to the BBC, who said that he had passed away early on Sunday morning (May 5). No cause of death has been given.Hill played Captain Edward Smith in James Cameron’s 1997 Oscar-winning epic, and Théoden, King of Rohan, in the second and third instalment of Peter Jackson’s Tolkien trilogy in 2002 and 2003.He had risen to prominence in Alan Bleasdale’s critically acclaimed 1982 miniseries Boys From The Blackstuff, where he portrayed Yosser Hughes, a man struggling through the unemployment crisis in Liverpool in the ‘80s.Born on December 17, 1944 in Manchester, Hill had a long career in television and film, including roles in I, Claudius, Gandhi, Wolf Hall and Valkyrie.He is also due to appear in the second season of the BBC police drama The Responder, the opening episode of which airs on BBC One tonight, just hours after the announcement of his death.In the show, he plays Tom, the father of Martin Freeman’s character Chris Carson.

Morrissey has said he has bought back the rights to two of his albums, after a long-running dispute with his label Capitol Records.The former Smiths frontman has been locked in battle with Capitol for a number of years, after his album ‘Bonfire Of Teenagers’ went unreleased, despite being completed in 2021.The album had been announced for a 2023 release on Capitol, but Morrissey later said he had “voluntarily withdrawn from any association with Capitol Records”. He also revealed that Miley Cyrus, who recorded backing vocals for the track ‘I Am Veronica’ in 2020, had asked to have her vocals removed from the song.But now, in a post on his website Morrissey Central, titled ‘A Rush And A Push And The Music Is Ours’, in reference to a 1987 Smiths song, he has said that he has bought the rights to release that album.“Morrissey has paid the exit fee to Capitol Records in order to return both WORLD PEACE IS NONE OF YOUR BUSINESS and BONFIRE OF TEENAGERS albums back to him,” the post reads.“It’s been a long, hard, bloody war.
