Councillors have approved the building of a new primary school in the Bertha Park development - on the basis it does not lead to the closure of any neighbouring rural schools.
The PA revealed last week that councillors on Perth and Kinross Council’s lifelong learning committee were set to approve the build when they met on Wednesday, January 22.
At the meeting, councillors were told there was a “pressing need” as more and more residents move into the expanding development.
