Berlin: Global Buyers Fall for Dolph Lundgren's 'Castle Falls' (Exclusive)

Earlier this week, Berlin’s Berghain—a dance club infamous for its anything-goes darkrooms—announced it was canceling all upcoming “self-produced events” and effectively going dark through April 20. At Barcelona’s Sala Apolo, the lights will stay off for at least the next two weeks, its wooden floorboards gleaming dully in the emptiness.

Italy’s Fabio and Damiano D’Innocenzo, who just scooped screenwriting honors at the Berlin Film Festival for their dark drama “Bad Tales,” are set for their first TV series that will also mark the first Italian original produced in-house under the Sky Studios banner.

British actor Anthony Head has signed on to star in upcoming horror comedy Let the Wrong One Infrom Irish director Conor McMahon. The film is a co-production betweenTailored Films(who produced McMahon's prior feature Stitches) and McMahon's recently established companyWorkshed Films.The film is set to begin production in Dublin in late March.

Hong Kong American actor Tzi Ma, co-star of Disney's upcoming Mulan, and Ellen Wong, best known for Netflix's Glow, have both boarded the project.

Honeydew, the New England-set horror starring Steven Spielberg's son Sawyer Spielberg in his introductory role, is heading to Berlin, with New York/L.A.-based arthouse genre sales company Yellow Veil Pictures having acquired world sales rights.The film comes from director Devereux Milburn and producers Dan Kennedy and Alan Pierson.
