Beloved grandad died suddenly during scrap with son-in-law at daughter's home

A much-loved grandfather died after becoming embroiled in a scrap with his son-in-law, an inquest has concluded. Wayne Charles Pugh passed away after pressure was applied to his neck and he suffered a heart problem.
Mr Pugh, from Tonmawr in South Wales, went to the Cimla home of his daughter, Lisa Andrews, on October 2, 2019, to solve a dispute between her and her husband, Stephen. However, the dad quickly got into a heated row with Mr Andrews and died during their altercation, Wales Online reports.
Emergency services were called to the scene but Mr Pugh was pronounced dead. An inquest into the death heard that he arrived at the property feeling "agitated" and was angered to see Mr Andrews with a drink in his hand.
The pair had an argument involving "pushing, shoving, and grabbing" but no punches were thrown. Accounts of the altercation differed between Mr Andrews and his family, the inquest heard.
Giving evidence at the inquest, Mrs Andrews said previously: "We got on very well. He was everything to me – he was as a father should be. I loved him and I miss him terribly. He had a good relationship with my husband. My dad was a very caring man and he was always there when I needed him.
"Me and Stephen had been arguing. I rang my father for help to stop Stephen from going and doing anything stupid. When he first came in [my father] went into the kitchen and became angry and annoyed. That's not what I wanted him to do but he lost his cool.
"Stephen had a drink in his hand and it riled my father up – then there was all pushing and shoving. My father pushed him until he went into the living room and I started panicking because I thought it was going to get out of hand with things being smashed.
