Long before scores of women came forward and told the world how much of a monster the convicted rapist Harvey Weinstein was, the now-disgraced Hollywood mogul had a reputation for clashing with creative collaborators. Among the many filmmakers and actors to threatened Weinstein with violence was none other than “The Sopranos” star and late actor James Gandolfini.

With a bald head, bushy beard and swastika tattoo, he’s a Kevin James we’ve never remotely seen on screen, but he’s not terribly interesting as a one-dimensional and ultimately ineffectual white supremacist.

Comedians going dark can sometimes lead to a real cinematic discovery. They don’t even need to necessarily go dark, but to show another side of themselves is often a joy to witness.

Here’s the latest trailer for the home invasion film Becky, which stars Lulu Wilson, Kevin James, Joel McHale, Amanda Brugel, and Robert Maillet. The film is getting a release starting from later this week in certain territories.
