Bebe Winans Postpones South African Tour Amid COVID-19 Restriction Announcements

Music certainly has the power to bring people together in the most magical way and as the country enters its fifth day of lockdown, some of the country’s most talented performing artists have come together to perform a beautiful rendition of our national anthem ‘Nkosi Sikelel’ iAfrika’ to illustrate that while alone in self-isolation, we remain united as a country.

We’re all still in awe about the deadly epidemic known as the COVID19 or the Corona Virus and the negative effect it’s having on the world.

More LGBTQ+ events have now been postponed because of the growing threat of coronavirus in South Africa.

Amazon Studios has pulled the plug on “Love Island France,” which was shooting outside of Cape Town, as the coronavirus pandemic that has disrupted production across the globe spreads to the South African film and TV industry.

Last year, Big Concerts announced that Lighthouse Family will be visiting South Africa for the first time. However, after President Cyril Ramaphosa banned public gatherings of over 100 people because of the spread of coronavirus COVID-19, Big Concerts has confirmed that, unfortunately, the Lighthouse Family concert will be rescheduled.

In light of President Ramaphosa’s ‘State of Disaster’ announcement banning all large public gatherings, it’s been announced that the upcoming Boyz II Men South African tour and the Scorpion Kings Live concert meant to take place next month, are officially postponed.
