The coronavirus crisis and the government’s lockdown restrictions, such as social distancing, meant that the TV and film industry - like the rest of the UK - had to grind to a halt.
Best-loved BBC shows including Line Of Duty, Peaky Blinders and Call the Midwife ceased filming, while the broadcaster reduced the frequency of weekly EastEnders episodes.
