BBC Poised To Name Its Next Director General

The BBC has named BBC Studios boss Tim Davie its new director general, replacing Tony Hall who had said in January that he would step down from running the U.K. public broadcaster after about seven years.

He’s also held marketing roles at Pepsico and Procter and Gamble.“Tim has a strong track record as the CEO of BBC Studios and is one of the most respected names in the industry.
