BBC presenter Samira Ahmed has won an equal play claim on the basis of sex discrimination.
An employment tribunal in London ruled that the broadcaster should be paid the same wage as fellow presenter Jeremy Vine.
Ms Ahmed asked why she was paid £465 per episode of Newswatch while Mr Vine was paid up to £3,000 for each episode of Points Of View, work that she described as comparable.
In response, the BBC argued that the two presenters were not doing similar work - but a judgement released
